| Model clause
In order to use international arbitration by CAM Santiago, the parties must include the international arbitration clause of CAM Santiago in their agreement or agree to it separately.
All disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract, shall be resolved by arbitration according to the Rules of International Commercial Arbitration of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce in effect at the time of its initiation.
Note: We recommend that the parties consider including the following in the previous clause:
a. The number of arbitrators will be ____________ [one or three].
b. The place of arbitration will be _____________ [city and country].
c. The language of arbitration will be _____________.
d. The law governing the agreement will be the substantive law of _______________. |
